The interview was very chill. Bring your original medical, FCC permit, ATP, and Passport. After verifying those records, they take your logbooks. AA has a logbook checklist. I highly recommend following this TO THE LETTER. If you have questions about your logbook, email the hiring team before your interview. You'll watch a 20-minute movie about AA, then be taken to the DC-3 in the museum for the interview. You'll be interviewed, two-on-one, by two AA pilots. It's very friendly and relaxed....

It was the same as the other people have said on this website. You fly in the night before stay at a hotel. They pick you up in a van and bring you over to the American Airlines flight Academy. When you get there, you get your badge to get inside the building and you wait until the HR representative comes to pick up your group. Ride reports were spot on, everyone was welcoming from bus drivers to pilots doing the interview. Always be a professional from arriving to the hotel to after the interview. I had multiple interviewers in the airport shuttle going to the hotel with me the night prior to the interview. They want you on property, your job to lose! The in-person interview experience was great. It is no different than is described here. 2 or 3 TMAAT questions. Paraphrasing here. Interview is great, people are fantastic. They really do want you there. I cannot stress logbook cleanliness enough. I had about 102 hours of TPIC from turbo prop. All part 91 stuff before I left for the airlines. I provided a letter from my Chief flight instructor at the time and my DO at the time. Just like other trip reports, took a bus to the flight academy and turned in our logbooks and other required paperwork. Escorted to the museum where we watched a short video and had a Q&A session. As mentioned in many reviews, we dropped off our bags, logbook and documents review, and escorted to the museum for a 20 minute video about American.
