  • I submitted my application early fall. The day I submitted my application, I received an email to complete the CUT-E test. I completed two Meet & Greets with AA.  (one the next month and one 4 months later.   I had a third Meet & Greet scheduled with AA at WAI. Three weeks prior to my M&G at WAI, I...

Spot on to the other experiences. Technical questions come from a random Rolodex of papers (same ones that are on this site) Arrive at location Logbook check and in processing Watch 20 min video about AA Chat with one of the operations officers for a bit as a group (low threat) Interview was in the museum. Very laid back. They try everything they can to put you at ease - want to get to know the actual you and just have a conversation. Tell me about yourself Tell me about a leadership...

Overall very straightforward process, pretty low threat but it seems very easy to not get the job if your application, records, and logbooks are not tight, so attention to detail and thorough prep are key as with any 121 carrier interview, with the exception that this is AA so you really want to make sure you get it right. The process starts, after submitting the app and taking the AON CUT-E style test, with an invite to complete the admin HR interview over zoom, as well as a personality...

Overall the interview experience was very pleasant just as described as others mentioned how the whole day is laid out. No surprises. One of the best interview experiences of my life by far. I would describe the interview as very laid back and gentlemanly like I was casually chit chatting with my 2 interviewers at a coffee shop. My interview panel was a 737 DFW CA and a 320 DFW FO. Both with similar backgrounds as myself. Do your best to just be yourself and relax, don’t sound like...

Overall great experience. Admin interview was what does inclusivity mean to you and why AA. The in person interview was 2 questions each. 2 TMAAT, WWYD, and customer experience questions. The staff and interviewing pilots were all great and made you feel at ease. I was asked at the end when prep service I used and why AA. Don't be afraid to ask the pilots questions, they seemed like they wanted to share and talk about their time at...

Great experience. 2 TMAAT, 2 WWYD, and 2 customer. HR admin interview was easy with asking one 1 question and then why AA. The in person interview was about 3 hours long with video and then 45 minutes talking with two line pilots. The pilots were really excited to talk to you about AA and their experience so do not be afraid to ask them...

Admin Interview It took 20 mins and was conducted by a HR recruiter. Wear a suit in a quiet room with no distractions. They will be writing/typing a lot as you answer so you may get quite a few moments of silence. He apologized for the pauses and said that he was a slow at typing. Overall, very enjoyable and relaxed.  In-Person Interview Checked in at 0900, submitted logbooks and verified all the documents that we were instructed to bring. Waited about 30 mins outside because they were...

-Received an email to complete “work related Behavior” assessment- takes about 30 mins, no prep or studying, just answer questions in a conservative way. - Scheduled an HR TEAMS admin interview with an HR rep- lasted 20 mins, very relaxed (still wear a suit): 1) Why American? 2) What does Inclusivity mean to you? 3) LAX-PHL, 2 hours in, de-pressurize, walk me through your thought process from beginning to landing. 4) TMAY in a minute or less , focus on non-flying...

Overall the experience I had was very similar to the previous experiences listed before; the questions and techincal scenarios here and they were exactly as advertised. Total interview time was about an hour. 5 min TMAY, 2 TMAAT, 3 scenario based questions. Had the depressurization, 200nm out and get reported weather of 700-1, and then question about encountering an unhappy passenger at a party. Overall great experience and everyone was super easy to talk to and willing to answer any...

I had a M&G at WAI. Very pleasant experience. I handed in my resume and waited about 10 minutes upon check in. TMAY and your resume, tell me something about yourself not on your resume, tell me about your volunteer work and why AA. At the end, what questions do you have? Recruiter was very nice, and it was overall a great...
