  • Was kind of surprised when I was let into the teams meeting and there were 6 people from CommuteAir on the call but they weren't intimidating in the least. They were very welcoming and the HR recruiter even was texting me before and telling me how she gets nervous before interviews and to do my best. One of the people on the call was the Chief Pilot at CommuteAir so don't be shocked if it happens to you but he was also super nice and not intimidating. Started with asking me what I knew about CommuteAir, then asked me what I do in my preflight process that helps me have a safe flight. Then it led into a...

The interview included a first officer, my primary recruiter, the head of recruitment, and another recruiter. It started out with an introduction about how I got into aviation, an overview my training history, along with any checkride failures. Not too many TMAAT questions here. They gave me their PowerPoint presentation on what to expect during training, compensation, etc. After that was the technical portion of the interview with the First Officer, which took about 30-35 minutes of the...

Pretty straight forward. 1 hour interview, about 20 mins of HR questions, 15 minute presentation about the company, then the rest was technical questions. There were no gotchas or any trick questions. The interviewers are very friendly. If you review/study from the study guide you'll be fine. Remember they want to see if you would be a good fit to be with someone on a 4 day trip, be friendly, be respectful. On the technical section, specially the scenarios, they want to see your ADM. Study...

Everyone was super nice and friendly. They make you feel very comfortable. It was a panel interview with TMABT and a technical portion. The technical is geared towards the current ratings you have and current airplane you fly. I am excited to join the C5 family! Be yourself and be honest if you don't know...
