In-person interview was exactly as described by many previous posts on this site. Flew me into DFW the night before. Interview was at 10am the next day at CAE and lasted until about 2pm. Company presentation was about an hour. They expect you to introduce yourself to the group and tell a little about yourself, including your flying background. If I had it to do again I would prepare for that with a short maybe <5 min overview. Have "Something interesting about yourself" ready to go. Know that you are being interviewed the entire time you are in the building. Drug test on site, then sim ride. I was the last person to do the panel interview and it was short, maybe 20 mins. There were no technical questions, mostly HR-type... Continue Reading this Interview Experience

  1. Feb 20, 2020 Hour brief on the company and then we were pulled into each phase. 2 person panel, and Sim, (view the sim/scenario section of this website). Pee test in between. Company gave a family feel. Very casual. Great group looking to draw honesty out of the people. To be honest, the sales pitch seems genuine. I’ve always wanted to go 121 and stay. These guys are making me consider this as my final stop. Come to the interview with questions. Read the forums. Engage with their leadership... Continue reading this interview experience

  2. Feb 05, 2020 The interview was as expected in the previous responses. I was flown to Dallas on Tuesday, interviewed on Wednesday, and returned that evening. I was put up in the DoubleTree by the Dallas airport, a nice hotel, and the training hotel for Envoy. They had a shuttle that I used to get from DFW to the hotel. I opted to take an Uber to the interview at CAE the next day. Flexjet said it would pay to reimburse me for that, but I didn't ask. (It was around 13 bucks). I interviewed with one other... 4. Jan 29, 2020 The interview was really great and straight forward. We spent about 30 min with TMAAT (how do you adapt to changes in the plan such as catering not showing up, how do you deliver bad news, are you ok with a dog putting his wet nose on you on short final), logbook review, etc. Nothing cosmic or tricky and no mind games. After that we spent about an hour just chewing the fat (part of the interview no doubt) about all kinds of things. They even specifically stated that they wanted to tell... 5. Jan 22, 2020 It was a very nice interview, at the beginning was a company presentation by the Chief Pilot, then was the drug test and immediately we went to the Sim session.  (view the sim/scenario section of this website.). Finally was a session with a representative from Human Resources and the Chief Pilot. Great group of people! Good luck... Continue reading this interview experience

  6. Jan 07, 2020 Flight to Dallas, Double Tree Hotel room, CAE West for interview/sim eval the following morning. Start with a document check and a brief about Flexjet with several presenters. Drug test during a break. Lunch provided. Split up for panel interviews and sim eval. Panel questions were very typical pilot interview questions about experience and why Flexjet...no real technical questions. Flexjet is very focused on people who understand and fit in with their culture of high end service. They want... Continue reading this interview experience

  7. Dec 17, 2019 Very professional interview by far in my career! The interview was held in Dallas at the CAE training center. They flew me out the night before the interview. Stayed at the DoubleTree DFW North hotel. They booked me a very nice room! The morning of the interview I went down to the lobby and waited for the hotel shuttle to bring us to CAE. There were 5 of us getting Interviewed that day. We arrived at CAE just after 915AM. We checked in on the Bombardier side of the building and proceeded... Continue reading this interview experience

  8. Dec 04, 2019 Just like every other post. Flew me out and put me up in a hotel near the airport. Next day was a simple sim ride. They set everything up for you and all you have to do is fly the bars. Panel interview was straight forward. Mostly looking to see what kind of person you are. Not really a technical interview. More about personality I believe. The company is really big on customer service and taking care of its... Continue reading this interview experience

  9. Nov 15, 2019 Very professional process! Friendly atmospehere during the interview. The knowledge questions I got where all relevant and straight forward. Otherwise only personal questions on how I would deal with situations, scenarios etc. Then sim. (view the sim/scenario section of this... Continue reading this interview experience
