In-person interview was exactly as described by many previous posts on this site. Flew me into DFW the night before. Interview was at 10am the next day at CAE and lasted until about 2pm. Company presentation was about an hour. They expect you to introduce yourself to the group and tell a little about yourself, including your flying background. If I had it to do again I would prepare for that with a short maybe <5 min overview. Have "Something interesting about yourself" ready to go. Know that you are being interviewed the entire time you are in the building. Drug test on site, then sim ride. I was the last person to do the panel interview and it was short, maybe 20 mins. There were no technical questions, mostly HR-type... Continue Reading this Interview Experience

Apr 30, 2024 The simulator portion of the interview was just as others have described, (view the study guide and also the Sim/Scenario section in the study guide of this website).  The interview is very relaxing and enjoyable. It is genuinely a casual conversation. They want to know about you. Then TMAAT questions, and HR type questions.  Good... Continue reading this interview experience

Apr 26, 2024 Phone screening was very relaxed. HR and I reviewed the company, benefits, and confirmed I still wanted to interview. Then I received an email with instructions for what documents to send in advance, for the behavioral test, and how to schedule the interview. First interview was over a month out. I checked again the next day and found an interview spot came open for the next week. I cancelled the initial appointment and scheduled the sooner date without any issues. Itinerary and travel plans... Continue reading this interview experience

Apr 16, 2024 Hello all! Interview experience was exactly as others mentioned. The whole experience was wonderful! We started with meeting other applicants and then a presentation about the company. Once that was completed the group was split up, some went to the sim and some to the panel interview. Sim was exactly as others also described. Fly the flight director, watch your speed and remember CRM. Panel interview was great and they were very friendly, mainly just want to get to know you. The interview... Continue reading this interview experience

Apr 10, 2024 Interview questions were spot on. They're just looking for honest answers and to see if the position will be a good fit. The sim session is simple, but not easy. I was on the Lear 45. Needless to say it didn't go well. I didn't crash or anything, but was all over the place. If you get a chance, get in a sim and practice the... Apr 10, 2024 Greetings! Everything was like in the post. Company presentation, Interview (passed) very friendly and smooth. On the Sim I was struggling with the trim which made me bust altitude on the approach about 330ft+. On the V1 cut, the engine came back suddenly causing the heading to go all the way to the foot side. So, be aware of the trim and the engine relight. They gave me another second chance. Let’s see…good luck to all!... Continue reading this interview experience

Apr 09, 2024 Both the phone and the live interview were delightful experiences. There were no surprise or trick questions. Everything was very well organized. Everyone was very friendly and professional. Everything you find here in the gouge is accurate. The simulator flight was in the CL601. I struggled with the trim, causing some altitude deviations. For the V1 cut, it goes pretty fast. You need full rudder, and check the ball centered (above the ADI). The two instructors in the simulator explained... Continue reading this interview experience

Apr 09, 2024 Process was as described by everyone before me. I would just recommend finding a sim to rent for an hour if you haven't flown a jet in a while or... Continue reading this interview experience

Apr 05, 2024 The information posted on here is spot on. I was already in Dallas for work and did not need a ticket or transportation so I drove to the CAE building and grabbed my badge off the security desk in the lobby. One of the FlexJet instructors escorted me upstairs a few minutes later (around 7 am). We mingled with the other applicants and a FlexJet pilot who was going through upgrade training until about 8:15 when we were taken to a classroom to hear the company brief. The brief was great.... Apr 05, 2024 Gouge from AviationInterviews is spot on!! I arrived the night before at the Hotel booked by FlexJet, straight off the line from flying with my current Part 135 company. I didn’t socialize with any other candidates that night as I hadn’t had time to study prior for my interview, and for the remainder of the night studied in my room. Morning of, I ate breakfast at the hotel then joined the group of interview candidates waiting for the shuttle at the prescribed 6:30am time. There... Continue reading this interview experience

Apr 03, 2024 Great experience! Phone interview covered background, why FJ not 121, and hour review. In person at DFW with ~10 candidates as described in other posts. They gave a company overview then split members up between SIMs and panel interviews. SIM was straightforward (they give you the profile ~1 week prior), 1 pattern with vectors to a ILS full stop followed by V1 cut. Half the group was in a Lear60 the other half in Challenger601. Panel was tell me about yourself, why FJ not 121, some TMAT... Continue reading this interview experience
