Interview Info Study Guide Sim / Scenario All Companies
In-person interview was exactly as described by many previous posts on this site. Flew me into DFW the night before. Interview was at 10am the next day at CAE and lasted until about 2pm. Company presentation was about an hour. They expect you to introduce yourself to the group and tell a little about yourself, including your flying background. If I had it to do again I would prepare for that with a short maybe <5 min overview. Have "Something interesting about yourself" ready to go. Know that you are being interviewed the entire time you are in the building. Drug test on site, then sim ride. I was the last person to do the panel interview and it was short, maybe 20 mins. There were no technical questions, mostly HR-type... Continue Reading this Interview Experience

Then went back into the break room… was called in for sim ride..challenger 604..got a little fast on the climb out.. that was my only struggle ..entered the pattern ils 22L landed …reset for v1 .. no issues there. Back to the break room.. called in for the panel.. no surprise review logs.. talk about past jobs.. pretty relaxed conversation!! After that you are... Continue reading this interview experience

Mar 15, 2024 Pro tip: DO NOT FOLLOW THE FLIGHT DIRECTOR on the sim check. It's ancient and not accurate. Use it as a suggestion. It is only precise during level... Continue reading this interview experience

Mar 12, 2024 The questions on the gouge and sim evaluation is spot on. I went over other user reviews and made note cards based off them. I didn’t pay for any interview prep. I was flown up on Monday, and interviewed on Tuesday at 9am. Interview lasted 20ish mins and it was a very friendly conversation. They wanted to know my flying background, why do I want to work at Flexjet, do I provide good customer service to clientele, well my personality fit Flexjet. No technical were asked. Next, was the... Mar 05, 2024 All the gouge here is very accurate. I will try to provide some additional notes. The professionalism of all FlexJet employees is impressive. There were 10 of us interviewing. All of us were fairly "senior." The company presentation was a little over an hour. Ask questions. They REALLY want to know if FlexJet is a good fit for YOU. The interview was with one pilot and one HR person. At the presentation, we were told the order of the simulator evaluations, which is based... Continue reading this interview experience

Feb 20, 2024 Awesome experience. Expect to be in the same hotel with all other interviewees. Go to the bar, night prior, grab a drink and meet everyone. Day of interview expect to leave at 0630 from the hotel with everyone in the hotel shuttle. You will get there in time (don't worry). Start off with getting pre-printed lanyards and putting luggage in storage room. Escorted to break room for a short amount of time (expect the person who is escorting you to be a pilot FYI). Break room was about 5... Continue reading this interview experience

Feb 20, 2024 I submitted my application and was emailed for a phone interview the next day. The phone interview was about 20 minutes and she did most of the talking. She was very polite and professional. We quickly reviewed the flight times and information from my application and resume. She asked why I was interested in Part 135 vs 121, and why FlexJet specifically. She shared much information about what to expect in the in-person interview. About 5 minutes after our call ended I received a... Continue reading this interview experience

Feb 14, 2024 The Sim, (view the Sim/Scenario section in the study guide of this website). Next, time for HR and another pilot with questions...low key...how would you handle type stuff and tell me about a time;) No one aced the sim in my group as far as I could tell, most of us KNEW we could do better so dont beat yourself up if you have glitches, everyone else probably did too. After being exposed to the briefings and presentations, I believe how you PRESENT yourself in the customer... Continue reading this interview experience

Feb 06, 2024 Gouge here is very accurate. They ARE allowing use of flight director now and the Flex pilot monitoring sets up EVERYTHING for you in the sim for the entire evaluation. No drug testing at this interview. The interview portion was very conversational. If you look through this gouge you will do just fine. My sim was in a Lear...
