We've Aviation Professionals Prepare for their Interviews!
  • I flew in the day before and landed in the early afternoon, spending a few hours preparing. I had dinner at the hotel restaurant, and by 6:15 the next morning the packed meals were ready. There were about a dozen candidates in total, including a few foreigners and military pilots. At 6:30 the shuttle took us to CAE. We left our luggage on the ground floor and brought our required documents upstairs for the interview. We were welcomed in...

Interview is as described by others. Submitted the application and heard back the following day to schedule a quick phone call with a recruiter. She very quickly asked a few questions went over my resume and then was told Iâ??d receive an email to schedule the in person. You get some assessments to fill out prior to going and upload documents. A week prior you get the travel information to DFW. I flew in the day prior and take the shuttle to the hotel. You meet in the lobby at 6:15 grab a...

The interview process was smooth and easy exactly like previous interview said they pay for your flight as well as hotel fly in day before an interview 7:30 AM followed by departure. Same day of interview. Excellent experience looking forward to hearing back from flex chat reviewed the study guide questions as well as Sim and you will do absolutely...

Interview was spot on from reviews of the previous few months. Ride over from hotel all together, meet the onboard team, verify required docs and turn in logbooks, watch movie about pilot life, do the interview around the DC-3, gather in large group after, address any logbook issues, either get logbooks and escorted out of room or stay and receive CJO. Interview questions and scenarios were exactly as advertised on this site. Very, very friendly atmosphere. They want you if you are there....

It took all of 11 hours after I sent in the initial application to hear from the recruiter. Phone interview was about a week later. No snags and had the follow-on paperwork for the live interview while we were speaking. Original date for the interview in DFW was last week, but the flights got delayed and the company was kind enough to slide me to the next day. They fly you down the night before and return home the evening of the interview. Put you up at a hotel, it has a to-go breakfast and...

If you follow the questions on the website, they will ask very similar ones, nobody in my group was asked anything that varied too much from it. The van left the hotel at 6:30am on time and you can get a to go breakfast bag from the front desk. First we watched a presentation, then simulator and HR, some people had the simulator first and others had HR first. Then Simulator, (view the Sim/Scenario section in the study guide of this website).  It took a day for them to call...

As advertised in all of these reviews. Really nice presentation that answers most if not all of the questions you might come up with. Everyone was supremely helpful. Be natural in the waiting area with your group. Share stories, interact. It will help calm your nerves and make the time pass as you are waiting to be called for either part of the interview. The sim is not as scary as a lot have made it out to be. Come in there with a professional attitude. The sim isn't just about your flying...

I had a phone call with an HR representative, during which I answered some questions about my career and why Iâ??m interested in Flexjet. After that, I received an invitation for an in-person interview and simulator assessment. They covered my flights to Dallas as well as the hotel. Dallas Interview Day: 1-hour briefing about the company 30â??40 minute panel interview with one HR representative and one captain: TMAI Why Flexjet TMAAT you went above and beyond for a customer Why not 121...

I submitted my application online and had a buddy send in an internal letter of recommendation. Heard back the same day for a phone interview the following week. Phone interview was with Sandy. Very informal get to know you type questions. Also a few questions about my background (she was referencing my resume) In person interview will be next, CAE...

  11. The preparation for the interview was very helpful. I especially found the sim prep helpful because they put a lot of weight into this portion!
