  • Interview experience was very similar to others posted on this site. Highly recommend reviewing the study guide on this site as well, as the questions I received on my panel interview seemed to be taken directly from here. Phone interview came a few days after I submitted my application. Very non-threatening call with a recruiter who basically wants to learn about you and your flying history. About a week later, I got an email with instructions on how to schedule an interview in Dallas. The closest date was about a month after I received the email. About a week from my interview date, I received an email with travel itinerary (they buy you a round-trip ticket from the airport of your choice and a hotel room for the night), sim scenario guide, and instructions on what to bring and how the interview day is organized. Day of the interview began with a shuttle ride to the Center at 630am, so we arrived on the early side. Interview started with a company presentation at 730, but we were met in the lobby by company personnel, received visitor badges, and were escorted to a lounge with coffee, water, and...

I initially spoke with Flexjet when I attended WAI in Denver last Spring. I did a meet-and-greet with a recruiter at their booth, which was basically a TMAY while she looked over my resume. Flexjet reached out about a month after I submitted my app to schedule the phone interview. Eventually the phone interview was cancelled because the meet-and-greet at WAI counted as the initial screening interview, so I didn’t have to do it. A week prior to the in-person interview they contact you...

All the information on this site is correct. I submitted my application and received an email the next day to schedule the phone interview. Completed the phone interview the following week and it was just a quick get to know you. I was then invited to attend the in person interview, the first opening was almost a month out. Flexjet flys you out to DFW the day before and provides the hotel. The next morning all 12 of us left the hotel at 0630 to be transported over to the training center....

I was initially contacted for a phone interview, which turned out to be very relaxed and low-pressure. During the call, I was invited to the in-person interview in Dallas. The day starts with a company presentation, which I found to be excellent. It answered nearly all of my questions and gave a great overview of the company culture and expectations. After that, candidates are called in order based on their return flight times. The sim was conducted in a Challenger 601. I found it quite...

All of the other interviews are correct. Phone interview 30 min. Just getting to know you, TMAY. Then they fly you out to DFW and conduct a panel interview, consisting of one pilot, one HR representative, and TMAY. Then questions,  (view the study guide of this website).  It's all about a conversation, and they want to get to know you. The Sim is precisely as they state. A brief overview of the sim and guages, any questions? Then take off, vectors for a left pattern, on downwind,...

My interview was exactly like others have stated. It is extremely relaxed and was all in Dallas.  Be ready to be honest and Flexjet wants to know that you want to be there. I am finishing active duty and moving to a location where I would have to commute so Flex is perfect for me. I am not interested in 121 life and told them that directly. My SIM was in the Challenger 600 and it was difficult for me. I have all turboprop time and all glass cockpit but my prep work saved me (MS flt sim...

Similar experience as those posted earlier. Very laid back, yet very professional. Be yourself and give them a view of the person beyond the one flying airplanes Sim evaluation was in the CL60 sim. Keep your scan going, and make small adjustments. They’re looking for good CRM instincts and professionalism. If you’re off a speed or altitude identify it and make appropriate moves to correct. They understand it’s a new airplane to most, if not all of us, and do a great job...

The interview was straightforward. We got there at 0730 and started the Sim and panel interview at the same time depending on when we were scheduled to depart. The sim was hand flown pattern to an ILS, then a V1 cut to acceleration altitude. No tricks. Panel interview was normal questions. No tricks. Very...

Very pleasant interview experience as mentioned by others. (view the study guide of this website, including the Sim/Scenario section).   No surprises on the panel, why FJ, your story, most memorable flight, conflict or bad experience with a coworker, why not 121, what do you like about being a pilot. All very conversational and low threat. Got the call with a CJO the following...

I received an email to schedule the phone interview a while after I submitted my application. The phone interview was low threat and conversational, I was asked why Flexjet after the introduction and about me question then given plenty of information about the company. The interview was about a month later. They flew me out to Dallas the day before the interview. The morning of, the 9 of us from out of town took the hotel shuttle to the interview. After a quick into we all went into a...
