FREE Flexjet pilot interview information and gouge

In-person interview was exactly as described by many previous posts on this site. Flew me into DFW the night before. Interview was at 10am the next day at CAE and lasted until about 2pm. Company presentation was about an hour. They expect you to introduce yourself to the group and tell a little about yourself, including your flying background. If I had it to do again I would prepare for that with a short maybe <5 min overview. Have "Something interesting about yourself" ready to go. Know that you are being interviewed the entire time you are in the building. Drug test on site, then sim ride. I was the last person to do the panel interview and it was short, maybe 20 mins. There were no technical questions, mostly HR-type... Continue Reading this Interview Experience

  1. Sep 16, 2020 Awesome experience. Super friendly group. Straight forward. They want to get to know you, that’s why you’re there. All about customer service! Thought maybe about staying at a 121 carrier, but these guys make me really question that move. Definitely a place I could see spending a long career at. Read the gouges and the sim gouge and you’ll be... Continue reading this interview experience

  2. Sep 02, 2020 Interview process was very professional and exactly like others on here described. Starts with an invitation for a phone interview with HR as well as a personality survey to take prior to that interview. Questions were standard for HR interview This is really about selling yourself. NOTE : this company is all about customer service. They call it "fanatical attention to detail." So make sure you emphasize that as being important to you, too. If it's not, if you prefer enter the... Continue reading this interview experience

  3. Sep 01, 2020 Questions on the question bank are spot on. Super friendly interview. You need to be a nice person to work there and care about people. If you want to just close the door and not deal with passengers then airlines are going to be a better fit for you. Then Sim (view the sim/scenario section of this website).  They are great people and I think anyone would be lucky to work for them, they are all just one big family!!... 4. Aug 18, 2020 Applied in December 2019. Heard back 1 month later and was scheduled for a telephonic screen. A few basic HR questions, why FlexJet, etc. Offered an in-person interview. Covid-19 halted all interviews before I could attend mine. Contacted late July 2020 to see if I still wanted to interview. Offered two dates and was told I would be contacted to set up travel. I live within a couple of hours of DFW and told the recruiter I would drive up. They offered a rental car. Day of the interview,... Continue reading this interview experience

  5. Aug 15, 2020 Applied back in April, wasn't till August I got an initial email for a phone interview. Really simple, tell me about yourself and generic resume and HR questioning. At the end of the call, I got invited for a formal interview at CAE in Dallas. They'll get you a plane ticket and hotel. You can use the hotel shuttle to take you to CAE the next day. Make sure you checkout and take your bags with you, my flight home was right after the interview. The interview process was great, they gave an... Continue reading this interview experience

  6. Feb 20, 2020 Hour brief on the company and then we were pulled into each phase. 2 person panel, and Sim, (view the sim/scenario section of this website). Pee test in between. Company gave a family feel. Very casual. Great group looking to draw honesty out of the people. To be honest, the sales pitch seems genuine. I’ve always wanted to go 121 and stay. These guys are making me consider this as my final stop. Come to the interview with questions. Read the forums. Engage with their leadership... Continue reading this interview experience

  7. Feb 05, 2020 The interview was as expected in the previous responses. I was flown to Dallas on Tuesday, interviewed on Wednesday, and returned that evening. I was put up in the DoubleTree by the Dallas airport, a nice hotel, and the training hotel for Envoy. They had a shuttle that I used to get from DFW to the hotel. I opted to take an Uber to the interview at CAE the next day. Flexjet said it would pay to reimburse me for that, but I didn't ask. (It was around 13 bucks). I interviewed with one other... 9. Jan 29, 2020 The interview was really great and straight forward. We spent about 30 min with TMAAT (how do you adapt to changes in the plan such as catering not showing up, how do you deliver bad news, are you ok with a dog putting his wet nose on you on short final), logbook review, etc. Nothing cosmic or tricky and no mind games. After that we spent about an hour just chewing the fat (part of the interview no doubt) about all kinds of things. They even specifically stated that they wanted to tell... 10. Jan 22, 2020 It was a very nice interview, at the beginning was a company presentation by the Chief Pilot, then was the drug test and immediately we went to the Sim session.  (view the sim/scenario section of this website.). Finally was a session with a representative from Human Resources and the Chief Pilot. Great group of people! Good luck... Continue reading this interview experience
