  • The interview was exactly what you'd expect based on other experiences on here. Started off with just some small talk before the interviewer introduced himself and talked about his history and how he ended up doing interviews. The interviewer was a retired captain from Skywest. I introduced myself, then we got rolling with verifying paperwork. I needed to resubmit some things, like my CFI, since it expired between now and the original application date in January. We talked about my logbook, total time, PIC, multi-engine, night, instrument while in the actual airplane, 30/60/90 day, and 12-month flight times. Actual order after this was different, I'm just jotting down things I remember going over. Coffin corner, mach tuck, swept wing advantages and disadvantages, where does a swept wing stall at, how do we maintain roll...

Great Experience. Laid back, but very, very thorough - which i liked. Started with "housekeeping" Items, Tell about yourself, about the airline, etc. Then heavy technical, CRM, scenario, etc. At the end was told exceptional candidate, low 30/60/90 totals may hurt, but he doesn't make the decision. Really positive experience. Prepare well and it will be almost...

Was a good interview that followed the gouge on here. After the basic hrs and HR questions the technical portion was done as a flight Preflight- talk about bleed air, Taxi/Airport diagram, flight- airspeeds, and so one. Interview was a FO and made the flow easy. If you study the information on here you will be...

Interview lasted about 1.5. I joined waiting room 30 minutes before scheduled time and was pulled in about 15 minutes early. First 30-45 min was HR, him introducing, telling about myself, and TMAT. Went straight into me talking out a METAR and then he gave me a TAF with different ETAs and departure times asking me if we were within mins for both. Went into JEP charts after, this is where the majority of the interview time was. Started with a SID into an enroute into an approach into airport...

Interview was very straight forward. Heavily scenario based with jepp charts. Overall great experience. Interview lasted about 2hrs. HR section was about 30 minutes, technical was 1 hr, and CRM was about 30 minutes. I had one person conduct the interview while a 20 year captain observed. Know IFR regulations, High altitude aerodynamics, high bypass turbofan engines, went over weather, TS, microburst, TAF, METAR, etc. No ops specs or...

Really fun interview, super laid back. Each told our individual stories, then jumped right into it. Went through flight times. One or two super basic TMAAT questions. The rest was a scenario, basically standing in the gate and going through what documents I need. Then read the METAR and TAF at the destination, deciding whether we need an alternate. Then we walk around the plane and talk about the swept wing, flaps, slats, the turbofan engine, and APU. Briefly described pros, cons,...

Interview was with a two year FO. Did not have anything unexpected come up. A few hr questions then about an hour of technical. Taf, runway signs, benky 6 star kord, ils27r, high altitude aerodynamics, turbo fan engine and starting, bleed air. I canâ??t remember what else. Know your jepp charts. Study gouges. I think it went really well. I was nervous the whole time but thatâ??s normal I...

Interview was similar to most of the other gouges here. It was conducted by a 2 year FO being observed by a 3 year FO. Both were very friendly and calmed my nerves quickly. We started with a couple "get to know you" and badic HR questions and then moved into hours (30/60/90/365, total time, night time, instrument time, multi time, XC time). After that we went over 91.103 and I was shown an METAR and a TAF with an ETA and was asked to decode and decide whether an alternate was needed. Next I...

The interview lasted about 1 hour and 30 minutes. My interviewer was a First Officer and went straight into the questions without much introduction or background about himself. Overall, the interview was not overly technical or in-depth, especially in areas like weather or systems. The HR portion was straightforward with standard personal questions, nothing unexpected or difficult. The main areas I would recommend focusing on are METAR and TAF decoding, Jeppesen approach plates, and...

Started off with intros, moved into a few TMAATs. Tech was all that is covered in this guide (high-bypass turbo fan engine, swept wing advantages and disadvantages and theory, departure apt diagram, IFR alt mins, jep plate breifings, emergency and diversion as captain, etc) Very straight forward interview, was not surprised with any questions that weren't on this guide. Felt very prepared and interview went very well it...
