The interview was exactly what you'd expect based on other experiences on here. Started off with just some small talk before the interviewer introduced himself and talked about his history and how he ended up doing interviews. The interviewer was a retired captain from Skywest. I introduced myself, then we got rolling with verifying paperwork. I needed to resubmit some things, like my CFI, since it expired between now and the original application date in January. We talked about my logbook, total time, PIC, multi-engine, night, instrument while in the actual airplane, 30/60/90 day, and 12-month flight times. Actual order after this was different, I'm just jotting down things I remember going over. Coffin corner, mach tuck, swept wing advantages and disadvantages, where does a swept wing stall at, how do we maintain roll...

Interview was super relaxed. First stared with introductions, interviewer talked for about 5 minutes, then I introduced myself. Talked about why do I want to work for Skywest, personal flying experiences etc. (view the study guide of this website). After that, short technical portion, critical Mach, swept wings, aerodynamic, turbofan engines. He then pulled up some weather asked if we need an alternate, can we takeoff, then briefed ILS and star. Finished with some questions I had. Took... -

Overall, it went very well, relaxed atmosphere. They started by asking about my background and experience leading up to this point. The previous interview reviews were accurate: they covered Jeppesen charts, including airport diagram symbology, STAR symbols, and briefing an ILS approach. We discussed aircraft systems in the most recent plane Iâ??ve been flying, specifically AC/DC power, voltage regulators, rectifiers, and inverters. There was also a scenario question involving turbulence... -

Started out with introductions then went into current times and the flying I've been doing since my application which was 10 months ago. Then we went into some basic weather questions about METARs, TAFs, Prog charts and winds/temps aloft. Then came high altitude aerodynamics, system questions, then SIDs, STARs, and approach plates. Make sure you know how to use jepp charts - study up if you are use to the basic FAA ones. We also went over HR questions (all were in the study guide so no... -

Took a hour and a half, started with introductions then moved into HR. From there went into airspace, systems and IFR knowledge. No trick questions very straight forward. AviationInterviews had every question that was asked on the study guide, as long as you give yourself a few days to review it you will be just... -

My interview was right around 2 hours total conducted by a FO. He made it a very relaxing environment and dropped his own stories throughout the interview. It took about 30 min for introductions, logbook/hour review, resume review, flight training history, and updating any documents that I had renewed since applying. After that the actual interview portion was broken up into HR, technical, then the CRM scenario with the bulk of the time spent in the technical portion. All of the HR portion... -

Started off be introducing each other. (view the study guide of this website) Asked for 30, 60, 90, 12 month flight hours. Read a metar and taf. Then he got into the technical areas. The electrical system on the aircraft you fly, hung start, hot start, a lot of jepp charts, airport diagram, STARs, then brief an ILS to him. He asked what would you do if the right engine was showing low oil pressure? Overall the interview lasted 60 minutes. The interviewer made me feel relaxed and he was not... -
