  • The interview was exactly what you'd expect based on other experiences on here. Started off with just some small talk before the interviewer introduced himself and talked about his history and how he ended up doing interviews. The interviewer was a retired captain from Skywest. I introduced myself, then we got rolling with verifying paperwork. I needed to resubmit some things, like my CFI, since it expired between now and the original application date in January. We talked about my logbook, total time, PIC, multi-engine, night, instrument while in the actual airplane, 30/60/90 day, and 12-month flight times. Actual order after this was different, I'm just jotting down things I remember going over. Coffin corner, mach tuck, swept wing advantages and disadvantages, where does a swept wing stall at, how do we maintain roll...

Great experience with my interview. Jumped straight into experience review, aircraft / base preference, etc. HR was about 20 minutes, but a HUGE determination in the outcome of the interview. They know / expect you to already be proficient in IFR knowledge / operations, procedures, etc, but want to make sure they can fly with you for 4 hours in the cockpit. Be yourself and do not be a robot. They can tell if your HR answers have been rehearsed, and thats a red flag. Sell yourself! After HR,...

I was interviewed by a FO stationed in Phoenix, AZ. We started with brief chit chatting, then we went over my Flight times. After which he had me tell my " how I got into aviation" story. He followed by asking me questions on Aerodynamics, the weather, types of ice, derived alternate, exemption 17347, airport signs, and jeppesen plates symbols. I got stumped with one sign and a few Jeppesen symbols; I admitted I didn't know the answer. We continued into systems I went over the C172s...

Great Experience. Laid back, but very, very thorough - which i liked. Started with "housekeeping" Items, Tell about yourself, about the airline, etc. Then heavy technical, CRM, scenario, etc. At the end was told exceptional candidate, low 30/60/90 totals may hurt, but he doesn't make the decision. Really positive experience. Prepare well and it will be almost...

Was a good interview that followed the gouge on here. After the basic hrs and HR questions the technical portion was done as a flight Preflight- talk about bleed air, Taxi/Airport diagram, flight- airspeeds, and so one. Interview was a FO and made the flow easy. If you study the information on here you will be...

Started the interview off with documentation and flight times. The interviewer introduced himself and then asked me to do the same. About 8 or 9 HR questions were asked. Know the company values and how you would describe them in your own words. All of the HR questions were fairly normal and expected. It seemed as though my interviewer was more so trying to see my personality rather than my exact answers to the questions. The HR portion lasted about 45 minutes. Then we went into the technical...

Went through hours, 30/60/90/120/360. Checkride failures, accidents/incidents. Some TMAAT questions. Jepp charts, SIDS/STARS/Taxi diagram. Technical was really from this website. Then CRM, 2 in 2 out. The interviewer made everything a scenario so that was really nice. The interview was just shy of 2 hrs. The main thing they went heavy on was aerodynamics, turbine systems, pneumatic vs electric systems, bleed air, instrument procedures, they touched on ATC verbiage, push back instructions...

Interview lasted about 1.5. I joined waiting room 30 minutes before scheduled time and was pulled in about 15 minutes early. First 30-45 min was HR, him introducing, telling about myself, and TMAT. Went straight into me talking out a METAR and then he gave me a TAF with different ETAs and departure times asking me if we were within mins for both. Went into JEP charts after, this is where the majority of the interview time was. Started with a SID into an enroute into an approach into airport...

Interview was very straight forward. Heavily scenario based with jepp charts. Overall great experience. Interview lasted about 2hrs. HR section was about 30 minutes, technical was 1 hr, and CRM was about 30 minutes. I had one person conduct the interview while a 20 year captain observed. Know IFR regulations, High altitude aerodynamics, high bypass turbofan engines, went over weather, TS, microburst, TAF, METAR, etc. No ops specs or...

Well interview was almost spot on with the write up from the guide. Started with paperwork and verifying of documents then went into introductions. Straight into the hr sections after that. (view the study guide of this website).  I talked quite a bit so this is the only questions the interviewer asked for hr portion. Then went into the technical questions and started asking right off the bat about approach plates, then arrival charts on jeppesen. Talked about weather and which way of a...

The interview started out by introducing ourselves and then going over flight times. Asked 30/60/90/12mo flight times and when I would be at ATP mins. He asked me two TMAAT questions, (view the study guide of this website). He finished the interview by showing a few airport signs and asking what they were. Overall it was a very short interview,...
