The interview was exactly what you'd expect based on other experiences on here. Started off with just some small talk before the interviewer introduced himself and talked about his history and how he ended up doing interviews. The interviewer was a retired captain from Skywest. I introduced myself, then we got rolling with verifying paperwork. I needed to resubmit some things, like my CFI, since it expired between now and the original application date in January. We talked about my logbook, total time, PIC, multi-engine, night, instrument while in the actual airplane, 30/60/90 day, and 12-month flight times. Actual order after this was different, I'm just jotting down things I remember going over. Coffin corner, mach tuck, swept wing advantages and disadvantages, where does a swept wing stall at, how do we maintain roll...

Super straight forward and relaxed interview. 2 year FO as my interviewer, immediately went in to introducing ourselves then to basic HR questions and required Skywest questions (30/60/90/365/PIC/Multi...). After that we went into technical- Jepp charts were the heaviest part for me, followed by a doozy of a METAR and TAF accompanied with basic weather theory and 121 regs (Part 3585, Derived alternate minimums and Takeoff mins). We then went over turbine theory pretty extensively, so have a... -

Good interview! FO for 2.5 years. Very friendly.CRM, HR, total hours. Technical is straight from the study guide. Not looking for perfection, just trying to see how we manage the risk and make inflight decisions. Study the guide and you will do well. Good... -

Interview started at 8am Central (7am MST). We first went over general HR topics like flight time (TT, PIC, XC, Instrument excluding simulator, SIC time, Multi, Night PIC), then was asked if I had any checkride failures. First technical subject we covered was decoding the TAF for KMSP. Make sure you can decode a random TAF real-time under pressure. Next we went into the 10-9 Jepp chart for KMSP. I was asked about a displaced threshold, if there were any on the chart and the definition, then... -

Interview was with a 2 year FO, started at 8:00 am. Started with the basics like logbook review, checkride failures, etc. the HR portion was very short, only asked 2 TMAAT questions and how I got into aviation. We went straight into the technical topics after, went over high altitude aerodynamics, jet engine theory, electrical systems, and swept wing characteristics. The scenario portion was both lavatories were out of order and it was going to be a 4 hour flight, I was asked if I would... -

Very laid back experience. Honestly, the other most recent interviews covered everything I went over in mine. I made my own study guide based on the questions provided by AviationInterviews. Received a call 9 days after my interview. Good... -

My interview was not really what I expected based on previous feedback from SkyWest interviews. It was with a younger FO and we started with a basic logbook audit, any aircraft or base preferences, and our intros. Then he gave me some of the core values and asked which of them I aligned with most and how I would bring them to the company. We never really got into the systems of the aircraft I fly. Instead the interview was pretty heavy on Jepp charts. We went over a SID, Arrival, and a few... -

2 year FO gave my interview. Very friendly and made sure I knew this wasnâ??t a checkride just a conversation to see how well prepared I am. Started with him telling me his story and then I told him mine and how I got into aviation. Then to the HR portion logbook, medical, checkride failures. TMAAT questions. Technical portion tell me about the plane you fly the most, several questions, (view the study guide of this website) The whole interview was an hour and a half, I felt... -

Talked about total hours, how failing my commercial checkride influenced how I taught my students moving forward. Talked about 91.103, went through METAR, TAF, thunderstorms and when I need an alternate airport under part 91 instrument. (view the study guide of this website). Medical emergency scenario on the plane talked about 2in, 2out. Greatest weakness and strength as a pilot. Why Skywest (talked about culture) and then legal questions and if I had any... -

Interviewer was a 2 year female FO. She started by mentioning the interview was going to be very conversational and casual which helped calm my nerves. After going over my hours we moved into HR questions. Was asked a little more questions here than I anticipated but just answered honestly sharing stories from my past, overall theyâ??re just trying to get to know you. After we moved on to a Crm scenario and then she had me pull up and decode METAR and TAF in real time at KORD. Then I was...
