The interview was exactly what you'd expect based on other experiences on here. Started off with just some small talk before the interviewer introduced himself and talked about his history and how he ended up doing interviews. The interviewer was a retired captain from Skywest. I introduced myself, then we got rolling with verifying paperwork. I needed to resubmit some things, like my CFI, since it expired between now and the original application date in January. We talked about my logbook, total time, PIC, multi-engine, night, instrument while in the actual airplane, 30/60/90 day, and 12-month flight times. Actual order after this was different, I'm just jotting down things I remember going over. Coffin corner, mach tuck, swept wing advantages and disadvantages, where does a swept wing stall at, how do we maintain roll...

Interview was very laid back and straight forward. Started with HR questions. Was very procedural like "We just need to ask these then we move on" From there, went into tell me about a time a flight went bad, followed by what are these airport signs. The signs were just a slide show that he flipped through. After that we touched on SFO airport diagram, briefed an approach and looked at a STAR with a few questions about how you would fly it. Went into scenario and that was it. No real... -

My interview was with a 3 year captain. He was truly a nice guy but I was nervous the entire time and forgot most of what I studied. We started out with introductions (told me how he got into aviation, about his family etc and I did the same), be prepared to talk about any accidents/ checkride failures. Have your hours ready to go TT, Instrument time, Night hours, Multi time, PIC time, 30,60,90,120,12months. After we discussed all of that, we dove right in. We spoke about swept wings,... -

interview was very straight forward. Lasted about 1 1/2 hours. Started with HR questions, very straight forward. TMAAT questions, then into airport signage, Brief an approach into SFO then cover the airport chart in SFO. Quick questions about swept wing dynamics followed by how does a high bypass turbofan work, then into my scenario. Over all, very pleasant interview. This sight covered 99% of everything in my... -

Interview was very straightforward, nothing out of left field. This site prepped me very well. I didn't get any TMAAT questions or hardly any HR questions in general. Mostly paperwork questions. The vibe of the interview was good from what I thought, and my interviewer spent quite a bit of time telling me about how much he loved the company. It lasted the full 2.5 hours and was mostly technical questions and CRM questions, nothing... -

The interview was with a First Officer. He was a nice man, walked me through the process, was very straightforward with what the process generally is. Talked about background, Hours (30/60/90 and 365), ensured I met all ATP minimums, checkride failures, and notice period duration if offered CJO with the current company. I was very curious about my answers for preference in base and preference in aircraft. I was answering safe, but he wanted a straightforward answer. Started with HR, then Wx... -

Very similar to other experiences I've read on here. My interview was just done with a 3-year E175 FO out of Boise, and he's been with the recruiting department for about a year and a half. Started by saying his interviews tend to run 2+ hours, that he was trying to shorten them, but that we should be prepared for it to take up the whole block we had scheduled. Started with admin stuff; 30/60/90 times and total time in the last 12 months. He asked a few HR questions, mainly about my flight... -

The interview was fairly straightforward. ERJ F/O said he was the number 3 bidding F/O at LAX. Standard HR but no TMAAT questions. Metar/Taf asked me questions, (view the study guide of this website). For my system, he asked me about the fuel system for a C172. High altitude aerodynamics was all the normal stuff. Had me brief a STAR and an approach into MSP. For the CRM scenario pax was in a physical conflict in the back, and he wanted to hear about 2in/2out. Transfer flight controls... -

Interviewer was an experienced captain. Overall the interview was more relaxed than I expected. The gouge covered the technical questions pretty well. Turbines, high speed aerodynamics, systems, jep charts, METARs/TAFs, and part 91 alternate requirement. Don't try to show off your knowledge by over answering a question, just answer what they ask or ask for clarification. I got the impression that that I was also being observed for how well I listened, not just what I knew. Scenario was about...
