  • The interview was exactly what you'd expect based on other experiences on here. Started off with just some small talk before the interviewer introduced himself and talked about his history and how he ended up doing interviews. The interviewer was a retired captain from Skywest. I introduced myself, then we got rolling with verifying paperwork. I needed to resubmit some things, like my CFI, since it expired between now and the original application date in January. We talked about my logbook, total time, PIC, multi-engine, night, instrument while in the actual airplane, 30/60/90 day, and 12-month flight times. Actual order after this was different, I'm just jotting down things I remember going over. Coffin corner, mach tuck, swept wing advantages and disadvantages, where does a swept wing stall at, how do we maintain roll...

Interview was very straight forward. Basically was a walk through of everything related to conducting a part 121 flight. All technical questions were brief and pretty easy. If you study all the topics, chances are you will be over prepared. Only advice I have is spend a lot of time being familiar with Jepp charts. Interview was about 1:45...

Interview was pretty straight forward and laid back. Interviewer was former law enforcement and turned to flying and a career change and was a 2 year FO for the company. First bit was him telling about how he started at Skywest and his story. Me being military and him being former law enforcement seemed to create a connection. Started with time totals/ passport/ PRIA records and a quick overview of my military flight time. Then were the HR questions, (view the study guide of this website)....

Overall, very pleasant experience! From the beginning, the FO who interviewed me was very laidback, which put me at ease. Started with get-to-know-you questions, then technical (study the questions on this website), then CRM scenario, then HR questions. I asked a few questions at the end, the whole interview took approx 1.5...

My interview was with a 2 year FO who was very personable. He made the interview feel like a conversation between two people who liked airplanes. We started with updated flight times, HR questions, no TMAAT questions, and then technical, and finished with a CRM scenario. Technical section was not like an IFR checkride, rather a gate-to-gate flight where he asked me questions along the way. Questions included, jepp chart knowledge, speed limits, and high altitude aerodynamics and...

The interview, at least so I thought, went well. We went through the typical questions you'll see on here. VERY technical interview. Barely asked me any HR or CRM questions. Maybe 2 or 3? I struggled a bit on the techincal portion especially with high altitude aerodynamics but I got through it on my own with a few hints here and there. I knocked the HR questions out of the park and my interviewing and I had a great time. Laughing, joking, telling stories. He was great. Not sure what went...

The Interview was mostly as expected. Started with brief introductions. After a few HR questions, (view the study guide of this website).  From there we discussed weather.  I feel like there was more questions but it was all in the interview prep. I was a little annoyed because when I answered something right he mentioned â??oh you mustâ??ve studied the gaugeâ?.   After that, we talked through a SID, briefed a Jepp plate, airport diagram. Went through a TAF, went through...

HR sections was easy. 30/60/12m hours, why aviation, why SkyWest? (view the study guide of this website).  Technical portion included a private pilot level understanding of weather and engine questions. Jepp charts for taxi, departure, approach, brief a SID, CRM scenario was an engine flameout on the departure procedure. Av, Nav, Comm, 2 in 2 out. Talked holding speeds and 91.175. RVR vs Flight Vis. 2 hour...

Weird experience, around 70% the interviewer talking. Almost 2.5 hours. He briefed the app. Questions from this website sprinkled in including high alt aerodynamics and jet systems. No HR questions other than why SkyWest. 12 days between interview and CJO. Heard 3-6 months out for class dates. Good luck and study the material on here, don't be a...

175 FO based at MSP. Followed the same pattern as the other interviews mentioned. Started with basic records 30/60/90/year hours. Move into HR styled questions about basic life stuff. Then a combination of technical/CRM. Flight from MSP to ATL. Started at the gate, discussed turbine engines and potential start issues. During ground tax discussed multiple airport/runway markings. Then briefed a SID, discussed WAANTS and weather issues based on a METAR that was displayed. During cruise, pax...
