The interview was exactly what you'd expect based on other experiences on here. Started off with just some small talk before the interviewer introduced himself and talked about his history and how he ended up doing interviews. The interviewer was a retired captain from Skywest. I introduced myself, then we got rolling with verifying paperwork. I needed to resubmit some things, like my CFI, since it expired between now and the original application date in January. We talked about my logbook, total time, PIC, multi-engine, night, instrument while in the actual airplane, 30/60/90 day, and 12-month flight times. Actual order after this was different, I'm just jotting down things I remember going over. Coffin corner, mach tuck, swept wing advantages and disadvantages, where does a swept wing stall at, how do we maintain roll...

Interview was conducted with a young FO. Started out with flight time. I came prepared with all totals in respect to ATP mins. Also had 30, 60, 90 day and last 12 months. Jumped into basic HR questions. No real surprises. Technical portion included METAR & TAF, basic jet aerodynamics, jet engine, jep charts, alternate minimums, etc. study the gouge and youâ??ll crush the technical portion. I was asked systems on my current airplane. Definitely review your stuff before going in. My... -

The interview started with him introducing himself and his long journey in Skywest. He didnâ??t ask me any TMAAT questions, just to tell him about myself and how I got in to aviation. After that we did logbook review and documentation, also asked me for the flight time in the last 30, 60, 90 days, 6 and 12 months, also some more HR questions for example if I signed the contract, DUIs, checkride failures, etc. Once we were done with that he asked me why Skywest. After that he asked technical... -

Interviewer was very kind and gave me the rundown of how the interview would go. He let me know about himself, his time with the company and wanted to ensure that this felt more conversational than like an interview. Overall, extremely knowledgeable man who seemed to really care about the success of applicants whether or not they were hired. We Jumped right in to discussing high speed aerodynamics. (view the study guide of this website). We then discussed the TEAM model and... -

This was my second time interviewing first time was a year and a half ago, and I expected the interview to go pretty much the same or similar as the last time and it was not at all the same. I was interviewed by two pilots. The primary interviewer seemed to being evaluated themself but he was the one evaluating me. We spent the first hour going over HR-type questions, documents, and background information. A major part of this included discussing any failures, flight times, and basic... -

I was being interviewed by two separate pilots I believe that the main interviewer was being evaluated. We Spent the first hour or so going over HR type questions as well as documents, etc. Big part of that we going over any failures flight times as well as basic experience and background for myself as well as the evaluators. We then spent about 30 minutes going over to CMR scenario seems like they drew from real flights that the company has had recently for that. We then had about 30... -

Interviewed with Ben, FO at SkyWest. Went through introductions. Asked to decode METARâ??s and TAFs. Asked about alternate mins. Asked about electrical system of c182 (current flown aircraft) scenario of extreme turbulence and what to do. I said asked ATC for pireps for smooth air. Basically everything on this site is enough to do very well on the interview. At the end of the interview I was told I interviewed very well. And â??If it were up to me Iâ??d hire you, but itâ??s not up to me,... -

The Interview was with a F/O. He presented himself then asked to present myself. It was 1.5 hours long. About 15 minutes of getting my hours. Make sure you got your 30,60, 90 days and 6 months of past total hours. Make sure all hours are totaled as they want to know multi, XC, IFR, etc. It was about 20 minutes of Hr and the rest was technical. The questions were more scenario based question and went more in depth than what I was expecting. LASHO, ILS critical area. Lots of systems of my... -

Study Jepp charts, WWYD scenarios, know systems and jet engine operations, aerodynamics, brief metar/taf. It is a pretty straight forward interview, but definitely use the study guide as much as possible. Interview was 1.5 hours with a FO who was nice and informative. If you are part of the cadet program, definitely attend their monthly sessions. Overall, it was a good experience, but a challenging...
