Read Page 1 ... Air Transport." . He will put his laser pointer on the screen and you have to tell him which way it needs to go on the route. Now you are holding short of the runway. You then give a take off briefing. You are PF as a first officer, he is the PM captain. Next he has you brief the SID and talk about what's on the plate. He will ask you about how much fuel you have to use on your release. You need to be able to read a release. How much fuel do you have for the hold, and extra fuel to use for the hold. He wants you to keep holding as long as possible. KNOW THE 3 TO 1 RULE. I cannot stress this enough. Then using the 3 to 1 rule you have to calculate the decent to 40 miles from HOU. Then you go over the STAR plate and which route you will take and what altitude you will go to. Be careful not to get too close to the screen and otherwise they will be looking up your nose. They don't like that. After that he will ask about you the Localizer and the glide slope altitudes and distances. Then you will talk about the approach plate. I finished it in 40 mins. I believe if you finish early, they will tell you how you did. One was a retired ATI captain and the other was a retired Delta Pilot. Both very easy to talk...

My interview was much different than others on this site. I was invited to the walk in interviews in Nashville. Paid my own way. I had two HR interviews over the phone or zoom with basic yes or no questions(DUI, 135/121 failures, work authorization). Panel interview was with 3 pilots. Asked what I knew about ATI, why ATI, give us 3 facts about ATI. Couple TMAAT (conflict). Asked what I do on layovers, what hobbies outside of work and my favorite movie. Will the schedule and pay work for your... -

I had telephone interview in early last month that was about 10 minutes long. The lady was very friendly and asked me basic questions. It was then followed up by a Zoom interview that was slightly more questions about being able to begin soon. I then flew to Nashville and paid for all of my expenses. Some questions were asked, (view the study guide of this website). Do you have any questions for... -

Just a basic HR interview. Was invited to fly up to Milwaukee on my own dime and interview. I arrived early to the hotel and met with two other interviewees that had interviews prior to mine. It seems we all had the same experience. It consisted of all the HR questions from here. I heard back in about 2 weeks with a... -

My interview was virtual via a email link. Just like the others it was almost all questions from the study guide on this website. HR was very standard, with some questions about failed training, criminal record etc.. TMAAT I was asked about a disagreement with a crew member and one time I went above or another person. Technical portion was two retired pilots, one of which said nothing and I was unaware of his presence until the end. DEN to IAH with AUS as alternate. Everything is legal and... -

Phone screening was very quick; 10 minutes max. Just verifying flying time, certificates, asked "why ATI?" Then email setting up 2 Teams virtual interviews: HR and technical. HR asked for aviation background, I used my 3-5 minute intro modified to leave out non-aviation stuff. Asked "why fly cargo?" TMAAT you went above and beyond for a coworker, TMAAT you didn't agree w/ your copilot, TMAAT you had a stressful flight, why are you the best candidate? Took about 20... -

The team was awesome! The application process is fairly simple and was quickly followed by a phone interview. The phone interview was short and sweet, essentially an experience summary and when you would potentially be available to start. soon after, I received an invitation to do the physical interview. The interview was located at their headquarters in Ohio. The team was warm and friendly; the questions were pretty standard HR-related questions (TMAAT, where do you want to be in 5 years,... -

Flew up rented a vehicle, and hotel, all on my dime. Interviewed with one person from HR and the Chief. TMAAT, background questions, failures, incidents/accidents. Prior job history. Just wanted to get to know you. No technical questions/sim, but be prepared. Offered me the position and drug test at the end. Not sure if the test has to be that day but I had time and its just up the road. Good... -

Saw an ad regarding a two-day recruiting event to be held in Central Florida this month. Sent my resume a week prior to the scheduled event to their recruiting department and within 48 hours got a prescreening phone interview. Interview date was set for in the afternoon at a designated hotel at Lake Buena Vista, FL. I live in Florida, so I drove. I was met by a panel of three ATI representatives. Topics covered: TAAT (use the Situation, Action, Result, Reaction technique), tell me about...
