Dining Comments: Walk out the hotel make a left and a block and a half on the left side there is a place I always go, however I never can remember the name. Can't miss it though. Cheap and clean and they are nice! Very good food.
Entertainment Comments: Gym, downstairs bar, or walk out the hotel and make a right, cross over the park and rows and rows of clubs and bars! Very fun and safe! I have walked back at all hours and no problem. Again a lot of fun on a good night!

Dining Comments: Lots of stuff around the hotel.
Entertainment Comments: The hotel is in a great downtown location. There's a great market with plenty of DVDs and video games. Walk west from the hotel a block or so and then walk north on Avenue Benito Juarez. When you get to the big open square on the left, take a left and then make your way back south through the markets, which are 2-3 aisles wide and run 2-3 blocks long behind the row of buildings on the west side of Avenue Benito Juarez.

Dining Comments: Neat cafes scattered around barrio antiguo (old city). Also, a dennys type restaurant directly across from hotel entrance. Actually, nicer than dennys.
Entertainment Comments: Get your shoes shined! The shoe shining stands near the walking mall do a very very good job for just $11 to 14 pesos. (less than $2!) Check out the new Santa Lucia Riverwalk. Its newly constructed as of Sept 07. Similar to SAT. Numerous restaurants. The bars and clubs in the old city dont really get going until 9pm. Its quiet before that but the beautiful chicas come out around 9pm. And theres lots. http://www.allaboutmonterrey.com/activities.htm

Entertainment Comments: Walk two blocks north, and you'll get to the local plaze market. Fun to walk up and down. Lots to do.
