Hotel Comments: This is one of the few times I've stayed here that the internet (wireless) has actually worked. I think the room has too much furniture, very cramped feeling to it. Generally, a nice hotel, I wish the housekeeping people would respect the "Do Not Disturb" signs. They knocked on my door at 11:30, again at 12:30, & then the front desk called my room at 1 pm. It's New Year's Day, I'm trying to sleep! Who do they think the sign was for?!? They,& the engineering guys were having a virtual party out in the hallway.

Dining Comments: A' virtual cornucopia of dining choices, but I always go to "Vinny Van Go-Go's"

Entertainment Comments: Lots of fun stuff to do!

Hotel Comments: A great overnight, but man the beds are rock-hard. Dare I say harder than many in Mexico. Maybe they haven't been broken in yet. If you are on the 7th floor of the main section, the business center is real close. Go down a half flight of stairs in the staircase by the elevators and you come out on the 4th floor of the suites section. The business center is right there, 30 seconds away.

Dining Comments: lots.

Entertainment Comments: lots.

Hotel Comments: Hotel beds are okay; clean and slightly firm. LCD TV with HD channels. Hotel wired Internet NEVER works and 30 minutes on the phone with Tech Support and they can't fix it.

Dining Comments: Too many to list...

Entertainment Comments: Savannah is wonderful city. So much fun and so many things to see and do.

Hotel Comments: Great location, poor service at the front desk. MC Taxi forgot about us and we had to take another taxi. The dispatcher was very rude, and ignorant. Beds are so-so.

Dining Comments: Pink House was great.

Entertainment Comments: Riverstreet and City Market.

Hotel Comments: Tons of cool restaurants and bars just downstairs of the hotel. The hotel itself has large flat screen LCD tvs by Dell. The Elevators are maddeningly anemic in speed. The business center is in another wing of the hotel (2 elevator rides away). Rock hard beds. Very clean linen. Noisy bathroom fan. M.C. transportation is pathetically slow and overall not very competent in what they do, potentially significant wait times: 35 minutes for us.

Dining Comments: Lady and sons was closed when we came. So we went to Outback steakhouse (not my recommendation), but there are many better and more unique options down by the water. There are way too many bars for one overnight.

Entertainment Comments: Eat, drink, and be merry.

Hotel Comments: Great hotel, nice clean big rooms with free internet. (not wifi but e-net cable in room) Beds are a bit hard but still comfortable and flat screen TV's in the rooms.

Dining Comments: Walk out of the hotel go down the steps and you are on the river front. They have plenty of places to eat and drink.

Entertainment Comments: Check out the riverfront.

Hotel Comments: The hotel has been recently renovated and better than it used to be a while back. It's about a 15-20 ride from the airport. We have a new transportation service that we use and they seem better than Magikal. MC Transportation is the new company so make sure you get the new number for them, as most pairings still show the old company and their number. The location of this hotel is great! Located right in the middle of everything. There is so much to do, just don't spend too much time in your room. Tons of bars, restaurants, clubs, shopping, etc. within walking distance. Enjoy the river walk across the street. Free internet at the hotel and free breakfast in the morning. The beds are not the best, sort of like the beds in Mexico and the pillows are not much better. The rooms do have a large plasma tv in each room now. Be careful in the shower, as they have outdated fixtures, and every time someone in another room turns on the water or flushes the toilet, you will almost get scolded from the surge of hot water in the shower before it gets normal again, and the process repeats over and over again. Otherwise, one of the best overnights in the system.

Dining Comments: Can't list them all but there are places everywhere around the hotel. Tons of choices. No matter which way you turn out of the hotel, you'll find plenty of spots.

Entertainment Comments: Lots and lots of stuff to do. Get out of your room and go do stuff and see stuff! There are a million things to do and see around that area that are within walking distance. Eat, drink, party, take the tours, go fishing, boating (maybe), etc.

Hotel Comments: The taxi magikal crap whatever really sucks, I think we could get this changed if enough people emailed the ALPA hotel committee. Besides that this is a great overnight.

Dining Comments: The wing place, the pizza place, etc.

Entertainment Comments: Look for ghosts.

Hotel Comments: 20min ride downtown. not very friendly staff. Hotel is average. Thay have free breakfast and free internet. Beds are HARD like mexico and so are the pillows. don't count on a good nights sleep. Then again there is lots of stuff to do around if you have a long overnight. room has nice flat screen tv, but almost no channels.... go figure.

Dining Comments: lots

Entertainment Comments: See above.

Hotel Comments: Hotel is no longer a Days Inn, but is now the Inn at Ellis Square. Same building, just different ownership and nicer rooms. Awesome free breakfast untill 10am. You also get free access to a real nice gym/healthclub a short walk from the hotel.

Hotel Comments: Old historic hotel. Nothing too fancy. Van ride takes about 20 minutes.

Dining Comments: There are tons of places to eat, we chose a bar and grill right down along the river which is a block and a half away. There are a lot of restaurants and bars all along the river front.

Entertainment Comments: Check out all the shops and bars along the river.

Hotel Comments: NEW. The new lobby is done, rooms are Ok, the business center is in the next building and you must ask the front desk for a key.

Dining Comments: Endless choices, go to the River front or the Market Square. Both 3 minute walks.

Entertainment Comments: NEW!!! There\'s a company called SEGTOURS in Market Square, right behind the hotel. They offers SEGWAY Tours of the city. If you don\'t know what a SEGWAY is, you should check it out... It\'s a 2 Wheels - Gyro powered machine that you stand on and it moves as you lean forward and back. It\'s not cheap but it\'s special. NOTE THAT YOU ARE WITH CONTINENTAL - THE LADY PROMISED TO DISCOUNT US. I tried it and loved it.

Hotel Comments: This is,indeed, one of the best in the system. However, one needs to be weary of the hotel itself. Check your room. Everytime that my crew has stayed there, we have had problems ranging from bedbugs to ants. If you can deal with that (esp. since it is right across the street from the riverwalk), you can enjoy yourself on this overnight.

Dining Comments: Right across the street from the riverwalk. However, my favortie place is The Lady & Sons. They love to accommodate the flight crews if you call ahead of time and let them know you are on your way. Asst.Gen. Mgr. Barbara McChesney. The phone number is 912-233-2600 ext. 203. Or, you can go online at ladyandsons.com for more information. This place is located on Congress St.

Entertainment Comments: Ghost tours...riverwalk...riverboat...etc. Nice time to hang out and unwind.

Hotel Comments: One of the best overnights in the system. Days Inn Riverfront. 15 minute shuttle ride from the airport.

Dining Comments: Numerous on the riverfront. Awesome pizza place a couple of blocks away with huge slices and an outdoor eating area.

Entertainment Comments: Plenty to do on the riverfront. Numerous bars including Wet Willy's. Lots of shops nearby. Ghost tours.
